Louvres that set the shade.

Double-height living room: the blinds on the upper glazing are lowered halfway.

Made to measure, inside and out.

Canopy brise-soleil with wooden louvres on brown steel brackets, above the corner sliding window; tiled terrace striped with shadow, gulf and mountains on the left.

On the façade or as a canopy.

Image from the manufacturer Serge Ferrari: two orange shade sails stretched over a paved patio, an olive tree, two sun loungers and the house’s glazing beyond.

A tensioned fabric, made to measure.

Teak outdoor lounge set on a round blue-green rug, under the pergola: sun loungers by the infinity pool, a second pergola and mountains beyond.

2. Cookie policy

Our website, https://lumidesigncorse.com (hereinafter: “the website”) uses cookies and other related technologies (for simplicity, all such technologies are referred to as “cookies”). Cookies are also placed by third parties we have engaged, when you choose to display their content. In the document below, we inform you about the use of cookies on our website.

Details of the cookies used and the management of your consent are set out in our privacy policy.

You may review your choice at any time:

3. This website, technically

This section describes what the website does and does not do, based on the code as published.

Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel. It is a static website, whose pages are written once and for all at the time of publication, then served as they are. It relies on no database and offers no visitor account.
Fonts
The Lato (headings) and Raleway (body text) typefaces are hosted with the website, in its own files. No request is sent to Google Fonts or to any other font service.
Audience measurement
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), only with the visitor’s consent (“Audience measurement” in the banner): pages viewed, referral source, device and a few interactions on the website, with no name, telephone number, e-mail address or message. Cookies _ga and _ga_668SRXFLGT, thirteen months at most, data retained for fourteen months, possible transfer to the United States under the Data Privacy Framework. Without consent, the script is not loaded. Details are set out in the privacy policy. No advertising pixel.
Cookie banner
It concerns two Google services: Google Analytics audience measurement and the Google Maps map. Neither is loaded until the visitor has given consent, service by service. Withdrawing consent stops the measurement and deletes its cookies. Refusing is as easy as accepting. The choice is kept for six months in the browser and can be changed via the “Manage my cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
Forms
The contact form and the quotation request are sent by e-mail to LumiDesign, through the mail service of our host o2switch (servers in France). The data transmitted are exactly those entered by the visitor: name, telephone number or e-mail address, service, municipality, message. The website keeps no copy of them. If the sending service does not confirm delivery, the page says so and offers an ordinary e-mail. It never displays a confirmation without actual delivery.
Configurator
The bioclimatic pergola configurator on the Configurator page is part of the website. It sets no cookie and transmits nothing until the visitor sends their quotation request or asks to receive their configuration by e-mail: the configuration is kept in their browser and in the page address. With the visitor’s consent to audience measurement, its steps and choices (rounded dimensions) are counted by Google Analytics, without the configuration code.
Map
The Google Maps map on the Contact page is loaded only after the visitor’s consent. The “Directions” links open Google Maps in a new tab. The maps of Corsica drawn on the website are outlines written into its pages and call no service.
Three-dimensional scenes
The interactive scenes (the pergola, the awning, the brise-soleil, the shade sail, the terrace, the games room) are rendered in the visitor’s browser by the three.js library, served with the website and loaded as the scene approaches. Everything is computed on the device; only the name of an option touched is counted by audience measurement, with the visitor’s consent. Without graphics acceleration, a static drawing replaces them.
Motion
Smooth scrolling and animations rely on the Lenis and GSAP libraries, served with the website. They transmit no data. With reduced motion (a system setting), animations are replaced by their final state; without JavaScript, all content remains readable.
Local storage
The browser keeps on the visitor’s device, and nowhere else, the draft of an unsent quotation request, the choice made in the cookie banner, the project prepared with our tools before it is carried over into the quotation, the record of the opening animation and the result of the three-dimensional display test. This information does not reach us.

4. How the website is built

A few facts about how the website is made, useful for understanding what is published and how.

Build
The website is generated with Astro, which writes each page in HTML at the time of publication. Style sheets and scripts are served with the website. No code is loaded from a third-party service, except the Google services described above and in the privacy policy, under the conditions stated.
Photographs
The photographs are those of LumiDesign’s worksites and of its suppliers’ visuals; supplier visuals are never captioned as worksites. No image is generated by a program. Images are served in WebP format, in several sizes depending on the screen, so as not to weigh down the page.
Drawings and scenes
The line drawings and three-dimensional scenes are illustrations of principle, written into the website. The sun positions in them are calculated for Porticcio, at the date and time chosen. They are not construction drawings, and the readings they display apply to the scene drawn and not to your terrace.
Structured data
Each page describes the company, its breadcrumb trail and, for the FAQ, its questions and answers in a format readable by search engines (JSON-LD). A sitemap is published at /sitemap-index.xml; internal test pages are excluded from it.
Accessibility
All content is readable without JavaScript and with reduced motion. Forms state their errors in a sentence, never by colour alone. The website can be navigated by keyboard; external links (Biossun warranties, Google Maps, Vercel) open in a new tab.
Reporting
To report an error, a broken link or a wrongly captioned image, write to contact@lumidesigncorse.com. The correction is made at the next publication.
