Choosing well

Which solution for which need?

Five solutions for living outdoors sheltered from sun, prying eyes or rain. Tell us what bothers you: the guide shows the ones that address it, and the ones for which that is not their role.

Ask my question

What bothers you

5 solutions address it

Based on each service page. Answers vary by model and configuration, and the quote specifies what suits your home.

Our method

From idea to installation, four stages.

  1. Anthracite pergola against the stone villa, outdoor lounge beneath, lawn in the foreground with the shadow of the louvres.
Casa Marti The pergola against the façade

    First stage

    First contact

We start by meeting you. You tell us what you need, what you would like and the ideas you already have.

  2. Stone pillar framing the left, pergola in receding perspective, louvre shadows on the deck, sea horizon.
Casa Lumi A stone pillar, the terrace towards the horizon

    Second stage

    Assessment and proposal

After these discussions, we study your project in detail, then propose the solutions that suit it.

  3. Anthracite pergola on an upper level above stone steps, bougainvillea, light path.
Casa Duminica The pergola, above the stone steps

    Third stage

    Design and approval

At this stage, we entrust the detailed plans of your project to specialist engineering firms.

  4. Open louvres at the top, sea at dusk, lounge and turquoise pot.
Casa Mare The evening sea, the lounge

    Fourth stage

    Installation and follow-up

Our team carries out the installation. Once the project is complete, we stay in touch with you to make sure everything is as you wish.

  • Made to measure We follow your project through each of the four stages

Before choosing, six questions.

Do you visit homes to better understand our needs and our space?

Yes. We visit you by appointment, to see the site and properly assess your needs. On site, our team advises you, then designs a made-to-measure proposal suited to your expectations. To book an appointment, call +33 6 42 26 51 69 or email contact@lumidesigncorse.com.

How do I choose the right blind or awning for my home or outdoor space?

The choice depends on the size of your windows or outdoor space, the sun protection you want and the style you are after. Our experts help you find the right one for your needs.

Are brise-soleil effective against the heat in Corsica?

Yes. Our brise-soleil are designed for the high temperatures and intense sunshine of Corsica. They limit heat and keep your rooms cool, with pleasant light inside.

How long does a bespoke outdoor fit-out take?

It depends on the size and complexity of your project. After an initial consultation and approval of the plans, we give you an estimated timescale for design and installation, based on your needs and the features of your space.

Do you install furniture only in Corsica?

Yes, we work throughout Corsica: Ajaccio, Bastia, Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Île-Rousse and elsewhere. Our own team installs your outdoor furniture, wherever you are on the island.

What warranty do you offer on Biossun bioclimatic pergolas?

All our Biossun bioclimatic pergolas come with a full warranty, ensuring their durability and performance over the long term. You will find the details in the Biossun warranty conditions.

Biossun also states that all its models are certified by the CSTB, the French Scientific and Technical Centre for Building.
