A bioclimatic pergola is an outdoor structure whose roof is made of adjustable louvres. By tilting them, you control the sunlight, ventilation and protection from the weather. Shade and airflow thus adapt to every season.

Our bioclimatic pergolas are made mainly of aluminium. It is a robust material that withstands the weather and needs little maintenance. We choose high quality materials so that the pergola lasts and stays beautiful.

Yes. Our pergolas are designed to withstand Corsican conditions, in particular strong winds and intense sunshine. When it is very hot, the adjustable louvres ensure good ventilation.

In most cases, a prior declaration of works is enough. However, for an area over 20 m² or in a protected zone, planning permission may be required. We help you with these administrative procedures.

Yes. We offer Pratic T-Hide, T-Code, T-Way and Flex Box folding-arm awnings: arm awnings housed in an aluminium cassette, on the wall or the ceiling, with LED lighting in the cassette. Yes. Our brise-soleil are designed for the high temperatures and intense sunshine of Corsica. They limit heat and keep your rooms cool, with pleasant light inside.

In most cases, a prior declaration of works is enough, especially if the brise-soleil are installed on an existing façade. Depending on the size of the installation and the location, planning permission may be required. We guide you through these administrative steps.

Fitted as a canopy above a bay window, a fixed brise-soleil blocks the high summer sun and lets in the low winter sun. Adjustable louvres add control of the light throughout the day, down to darkness with the louvres closed. A shade sail is a fabric tensioned between several anchor points to create shade. It protects effectively against UV rays and lets air through. Beautiful and practical, it makes outdoor spaces comfortable in summer.

Made from quality materials and regularly maintained, a shade sail can last for several years. Our fabrics resist bad weather, UV and water, which helps them last even in the Corsican climate.

The size of the sail depends on the area you want to cover: a terrace, a garden, a pool. Our experts work out the right dimensions for your project with you. Each sail is then made to measure, to cover that area properly.

Installing a shade sail requires the anchor points to be securely fixed and the fabric to be properly tensioned. Some projects can be done yourself, but we recommend calling on our professionals for a safe and durable installation.

A shade sail is first and foremost for protection from the sun. With a waterproof fabric, it can offer partial protection from rain, but it does not replace a permanent shelter such as a pergola. We also offer sails with a drainage system, to channel water away better.

We work with Serge Ferrarifabrics. The manufacturer intends the waterproof Soltis 502 Proof for shade sails and pergola roofs; it comes in 35 colours. A micro-perforated fabric lets air through, and therefore water too. The choice depends on what you expect from the sail: shade only, or shelter from the rain.

It depends on the size and complexity of your project. After an initial consultation and approval of the plans, we give you an estimated timescale for design and installation, based on your needs and the features of your space.

There is no minimum, since a cabinet and a pinball machine fit in a corner of a living room. For a dedicated room, allow about one square metre of floor per pinball machine and a little less per cabinet. Add a step of space in front of each machine to play. The layout planner on the arcade room page gives a first idea of size, and the layout is then confirmed on site.

Yes, if the room allows, as billiards is the game that needs the most space. Maison Toulet, whose billiard tables we offer, advises keeping 1.20 to 1.40 m clear all around the table to handle the cue. Near an obstacle, a shorter cue of 1 m or 1.10 m makes the shot possible. Official sizes range from 2.10 m for 8-ball pool to 3.80 m for snooker.

Often, yes, but access decides. A pinball machine is heavy and bulky, so the width of doors, the stairs and the turns need checking. We check this first, before choosing the machines.

You can hear it. The volume of the machines can usually be adjusted, but the mechanical sound of a pinball machine remains. Choosing the room, away from bedrooms, and a few sound-absorbing materials do most of the work for comfort.

We offer pinball machines from Jersey Jack Pinball, billiard tables and table football from Maison Toulet, table football from Cornilleau, as well as retro arcade cabinets. We do not display prices, because they depend on the machines chosen and the room. Tell us what you are looking for and we will reply on the models available and their terms.

Yes. Maison Toulet makes its tables to order. For a billiard table, the wood species, the finish and the cloth colour are chosen. For table football, it is the colour of the cabinet, the pitch and the playing lines. The manufacturer offers an online configurator that shows the result. Cornilleau’s Origin table football comes in black or white, for four players or as the two-player Duo, and is made to live outdoors. Tell us the colours of the room and we will look with you at what suits it.

Yes. The LumiDesign showroom is in Porticcio, near Ajaccio, and we work across Corsica, in Ajaccio, Porto-Vecchio, Bastia, Bonifacio, L’Île-Rousse and elsewhere on the island.

We offer pinball machines from Jersey Jack Pinball, an American manufacturer whose machines carry a 27-inch screen in the backbox. Each title comes in several editions, and the manufacturer’s catalogue changes from year to year. Tell us the title or theme you like and we will reply on what is available and on what terms.

Usually over a hundred kilos. Jersey Jack Pinball states 325 pounds for its machines, about 147 kg. The route to the room, with its steps and turns, should therefore be looked at before choosing.

Tell us the date, the venue and the occasion, for example a wedding, a birthday or a company party. Options and terms are considered case by case, on request.

Usually, yes, as a pinball machine is moved with the backbox folded down or removed and the legs taken off. Stairs, tight turns and the weight of the machine are more often the issue. The route is checked before any decision.

For example, Jersey Jack Pinball states for its pinball machines a cabinet 57 cm wide and 1.32 m deep, a backbox 74 cm wide and a height of 1.93 m. Exact dimensions vary from machine to machine and are checked with the chosen model.

Yes, like any mechanical machine: the playfield needs cleaning, rubbers and bulbs wear, adjustments shift over time. Jersey Jack Pinball recommends for its machines cleaning the glass, dusting the playfield, checking the level and replacing worn rubbers. Older machines need more. Aftercare terms are set out with each project.

No. Jersey Jack Pinball makes pinball machines, Maison Toulet makes billiard tables, table football, shuffleboards and table tennis tables, and Cornilleau makes table football. Yes, when the control panel has two sets of controls side by side. This should be settled from the outset, as it affects the width of the cabinet.

Yes. It is a piece of furniture that needs a socket and a wall. Avoid placing it facing a window, because of reflections on the screen, and think about the volume, which can usually be adjusted.
