The roof

A fabric that slides.

With Pratic, the roof of the fabric pergola is a sliding PVC fabric, most often motorised, that stops wherever you want. Rain runs down the slope of the fabric into the integrated gutters. The pergola can be freestanding or fitted against the house.

Pratic designs and builds its pergolas in Fagagna, Friuli, and powder-coats the aluminium itself, solvent-free: over thirty colours in the chart, and RAL on request.

Fabric or louvres

Fabric or bioclimaticpergola?

The bioclimatic pergola has a roof of motorised aluminium louvres, which tilt, slide or stack depending on the model. The fabric-roof pergola has a PVC fabric roof that slides and folds back. Both can be freestanding or attached to the house.

Under a fixed or retractable pergola, a waterproof fabric can also form the roof: Serge Ferrari intends its Soltis 96 Proof and 502 Proof for pergola roofs and terrace velums.

Your questions, our answers.

What is the difference between a fabric pergola and a bioclimatic pergola?

The bioclimatic pergola has a roof of motorised aluminium louvres, which tilt, slide or stack depending on the model. The fabric-roof pergola has a PVC fabric roof that slides and folds back. Both can be freestanding or attached to the house.

Does a fabric pergola protect from rain?

With Pratic, rain runs down the slope of the fabric into the integrated gutters. For a fabric roof, Serge Ferrari also offers waterproof fabrics, Soltis 96 Proof and 502 Proof.

Which fabric pergolas do you offer?

Those from Italian manufacturer Pratic : Nomo, Rialto, Phoenix, Fusion, Level and Evo. Their PVC fabric slides, most often motorised.

Is a fabric pergola suitable for the seaside?

Pratic states an aluminium pretreatment certified Qualicoat Seaside and Qualicoat Class 2 powders, designed for salt, humidity and UV. For a house exposed to sea spray, we look with you at the location and the maintenance to plan for.

Can the sides of a fabric pergola be closed?

Yes: Pratic offers Raso vertical blinds and Glass Series glazing in 10 to 12 mm tempered glass, sliding, fixed or hinged.

Do you install fabric pergolas in Ajaccio, Porticcio and throughout Corsica?

Yes. Our showroom is in Porticcio, in the commune of Grosseto-Prugna, near Ajaccio, and we work across Corsica: Ajaccio, Porto-Vecchio, Bonifacio, Bastia, L’Île-Rousse and elsewhere on the island. The technical visit takes place at your home: we take measurements and look at the mounting surface, the exposure and the access. Then our team installs it.

How much does a fabric pergola cost?

Every installation is made to measure: its price depends on the model, the dimensions and the options. We set it out in a quote, after the technical visit.
