The brand
Pratic began in the 1960s with the dome awning, the curved awning seen above shop windows, which the company says it invented and patented. Its first fabric-roof pergolas arrived in the early 2000s, followed by the bioclimatic pergola.
The pergolas are designed and built in Fagagna, in Friuli, near Udine. The aluminium is powder coated on site. Since 2023, Pratic has belonged to StellaGroup.
Pratic products
Here is what Pratic makes, with the names from its catalogue. We help you choose what suits your terrace.
An aluminium structure and a roof of motorised louvres. Pratic offers three movements: louvres that tilt up to 140°, louvres that slide and stack away to open up the sky, louvres that lift and stack on top of each other. The pergola can be freestanding or attached to the house.
The roof is a sliding PVC fabric, usually motorised, that stops wherever you want. Rain follows the slope of the fabric to the integrated gutters.
Folding-arm awnings housed in an aluminium cassette, on the wall or ceiling, with LED lighting in the cassette. The T-Hide also has a motorised valance, which drops from the front bar.
They drop in front of a glazed opening or close one side of a terrace, guided by side channels, stainless steel cables or a zip. The Raso fits pergolas: once raised, it disappears into the profile.
What sets it apart
Tilting from 0 to 140° (Opera, Vision), retractable (Brera), stacking (Carrera). Pratic presents the Carrera P as the first pergola of its kind.
With the louvres closed, rain is channelled into an integrated drainage system, then down to the ground through gutters hidden in the posts.
Raso vertical blinds and Glass Series glazing in 10 to 12 mm tempered glass, sliding, fixed or hinged, close the pergola when needed.
More than thirty colours in the chart, and RAL on request. Pratic powder coats the aluminium itself, without solvents.
Pratic states a pretreatment certified Qualicoat Seaside and powders approved Qualicoat Class 2, designed for salt, humidity and UV.
Remote control, app or voice. Weather sensors are available as an option, and the LED lighting is dimmable.
Two in-house patents: FlexControl on folding-arm awnings, and Magnetic Lock System on vertical blinds, which re-engages the fabric after a gust.
This information is what Pratic publishes on its website, consulted on 12 October 2026. The manufacturer states no warranty period there: ask us for its terms with your quote.
