The blind
A cassette, arms, a fabric.
Pratic awnings are folding-arm blinds housed in an aluminium cassette, fixed to the wall or ceiling, with LED lighting in the cassette. The T-Hide also has a motorised valance, which drops down from the front bar.
Pratic began in the 1960s with the dutch canopy, the domed blind you see above shop windows. On its folding-arm blinds, the company highlights a patent, FlexControl.

The fabric
The Serge Ferrari fabric.
Serge Ferrari designs its Soltis 96 for awnings. Micro-perforated, it lets air through, keeps the view outside and limits the heat that builds up under the blind.
The manufacturer states a 5-year warranty on its Soltis fabrics: this is its own warranty, covering the fabric alone, on its terms. Soltis outdoor fabrics are classified Euroclass B-s2,d0.

At your home
From the façade to installation.
We welcome you to the Porticcio showroom, near Ajaccio, to talk about your terrace. The technical visit takes place at your home: we take measurements and look at the mounting surface, the exposure and the access. Our team then installs the blind, and stays in touch with you afterwards.

Which awnings do you offer?

Which fabric should I choose for an awning?
Serge Ferrari designs its Soltis 96 for awnings. Micro-perforated, it lets air through, keeps the view outside and limits the heat that builds up under the blind.
Does an awning protect from rain?
Its main purpose is shade. A micro-perforated fabric lets air through, and therefore water. For shelter from rain, look instead at the bioclimatic pergola or the fabric pergola .
Can an awning light the terrace?
Yes. Pratic awnings have LED lighting in the cassette.
Does an awning withstand wind?
On its folding-arm blinds, Pratic highlights one of its own patents, FlexControl. Wind depends mainly on the terrace: during the technical visit, we look with you at its exposure and the wind it receives.
