The timberLight Accoya

The colour of a timber brise-soleil is that of its wood, chosen at the louvre step. Tellier warns that it weathers to grey over time. Aluminium or stainless steel parts are RAL powder coated or anodised.

Our favourites are our own preferences; on screen, colours are approximate, and we confirm them on a sample.

Fixed louvres do not move: their angle and spacing are calculated once, for summer shade and winter sun.

Span “depending on configuration” according to Tellier: it is calculated during the survey. Timber weathers to grey over time.

What is a brise-soleil and what are its benefits?

A brise-soleil controls sunlight and heat in the home. It blocks the sun’s rays, lets natural light in and enhances your outdoor space. As you use the air conditioning less, it also helps reduce energy consumption.

Which materials do you use to make bespoke brise-soleil?

We use high-quality materials such as aluminium, wood or steel. They are robust, weather-resistant and easy to maintain. Each brise-soleil is made to measure, to suit your space and your taste.

Can I personalise my brise-soleil?

Yes. Each brise-soleil is designed to measure, according to your needs and your project. You choose the dimensions, materials, colours and, if you wish, a motorisation system.

Are brise-soleil effective against the heat in Corsica?

Yes. Our brise-soleil are designed for the high temperatures and intense sunshine of Corsica. They limit heat and keep your rooms cool, with pleasant light inside.

Do you need planning permission to install brise-soleil?

In most cases, a prior declaration of works is enough, especially if the brise-soleil are installed on an existing façade. Depending on the size of the installation and the location, planning permission may be required. We guide you through these administrative steps.
