The brand

Parasols made for shade, since 1999.

Jardinico is a Belgian brand based in Kortrijk, Flanders. It designs premium parasols and, alongside them, outdoor furniture and decor.

Its collections are sold worldwide through distributors, agents and retailers. The brand wants parasols that are easy to operate and built to last for many years.

Jardinico products

From centre pole to cantilever parasol.

Two collections, Caractère and Attitude, with the names from the Jardinico catalogue. Each parasol is configured: size, frame colour, canopy.

Cantilever parasols

The pole stands to the side and leaves the table free. The JCP.3, which the brand calls the most iconic of its Caractère collection, adjusts on its pole with a slider and rotates through 360° without moving the base. In the Attitude collection, the Azore, Antego and Lima are also cantilever models.

Centre pole

The JCP.1, at 230 × 230 cm, keeps an almost flat canopy, tilted at 10°. The JCP.2 opens and closes with a telescopic system, without touching the furniture, and gives up to 25 m² of shade. The Tuli, Juno and Amalfi complete the family.

Wooden parasols

The Moorea has a raw teak frame and opens with a pulley. The Cuba combines wood with stainless steel parts. The Macramé has fringes, on a single-piece eucalyptus pole.

Large formats

For large terraces and poolsides. The JCP.4 stands on a 245 kg base and goes up to 425 × 300 cm. The JCP.6 brings two 300 × 300 cm canopies together on a single pole, the JCP.5 four, for 40 m² of shade.

The details

What Jardinico highlights.

  • The frame

Powder-coated aluminium. The Caractère collection has seven frame colours, from white to black, including a teak effect.

  • The canopies

Solution-dyed acrylic or olefin yarns, with a coating that makes the canopy waterproof and stain-resistant. The brand says they are 100% recyclable.

  • Wind

Jardinico gives the maximum wind speed for each parasol: 58 km/h for the JCP.2, JCP.3, JCP.4 and JCP.5, 17 to 39 km/h for the wooden parasols. It asks that the parasol be closed as soon as the wind picks up.

  • Light

The JCP.3 is available with integrated LED lighting, powered by solar panels and a magnetic battery that detaches for recharging.

  • The bases

Each parasol has its base, in granite, sandstone, concrete or steel, some on wheels. Near a pool, which is more exposed to wind, the manufacturer recommends a heavier base.

  • La Couture Collection

Six finishes to dress the canopy, with tassels or a valance, to be matched on the cushions.

  • Spare parts

The manufacturer keeps spare parts in stock for up to two years after a model is discontinued.

This information is what Jardinico publishes on its website, consulted on 16 October 2026. The manufacturer states a warranty of up to two years against manufacturing and material defects; ribs and wind damage are not included.

Your questions, our answers.

Who installs Jardinico parasols in Corsica?

LumiDesign offers and installs Jardinico parasols in Corsica. We welcome you at the Porticcio showroom, near Ajaccio, and we come to see your terrace, anywhere on the island.

Cantilever or centre-pole parasol?

A cantilever parasol holds its pole to the side, leaving the table free. At Jardinico, the JCP.3 rotates through 360° without moving its base. A centre pole sits in the middle of a table or lounge set; for a balcony, the brand recommends the tilting Juno, on its Lucca half-base.

Does a parasol stand up to wind?

Jardinico gives the maximum wind speed for each model: 58 km/h for its large aluminium parasols, less for its wooden ones. The manufacturer asks that the parasol be closed as soon as the wind picks up and never left open unattended: wind damage is not covered by its warranty.

What size of parasol for my terrace?

For a terrace of 15 to 20 m², Jardinico suggests the JCP.402, which gives about 15 m² of shade. For large terraces, the JCP.5 brings four canopies together on one pole, for 40 m² of shade. We measure with you the space for the table and for passing through.

Can a Jardinico parasol light the terrace in the evening?

Yes, the JCP.3 is available with integrated LED lighting, powered by solar panels and a magnetic battery that detaches for recharging.

What warranty on a Jardinico parasol?

Jardinico states a warranty of up to two years against manufacturing and material defects. Ribs and wind damage are not included: that is why the manufacturer asks that the parasol be closed as soon as the wind picks up.
