The brand
Bandalux began in 1986 with the vertical blind. Today the brand designs and makes a full range of blinds and curtains, for indoors and outdoors.
Its head office is in Granollers, near Barcelona, and its main production site in Moraña, Galicia. Bandalux has five factories and more than 500 staff.
Bandalux products
Here are the main families in the Bandalux catalogue, with the names of its systems. Every blind is made to the measurements of the opening.
The core family, for every room. The Capitel, inspired by Greek capitals, is operated by chain or by a battery motor, with no electrical installation. The Icon is recognisable by its black circle, the Eclipse by its chain with adjustable exit.
The fabric is held in its side channels by a zip: it does not flap in the wind and blocks light better. The Z-Box fits indoors or out. The Z-Box Solar runs on a solar panel and a battery, with no wiring.
Horizontal slats in wood or aluminium, tilting through 180°, to control the light and keep your privacy. For outdoors, the same family includes an adjustable brise-soleil, the BSO.
Very compact, the pleated blind follows sloping windows and irregular shapes, right up to conservatory roofs. One version fits without drilling into the window frame.
The vertical blind is the brand’s first product: its slats slide and pivot, on glazing up to 6 m wide and 6 m high. The Japanese panel, made of overlapping sections, dresses a large window or divides two spaces.
What sets it apart
The Z-Box is wind class 6 under the EN 13561 standard, the highest rating, certified by an independent laboratory.
Z-Box Solar and B-Box Solar: a solar panel, a battery, a motor. No mains connection.
The LYNX app controls the blinds from a phone or by voice, with scenes and schedules.
Wind, sun and temperature sensors adjust the blinds automatically.
Technical fabrics for indoors and outdoors, fire-retardant, with 1, 3, 5 or 10% openness.
An aluminium external Venetian blind. Bandalux states it withstands winds of up to 76 km/h for the Z70 and Z90 models, which is class 5 under the EN 13659 standard.
The company is certified ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001.
This information is what Bandalux publishes on its website, consulted on 12 October 2026. The manufacturer does not state a warranty period there: ask us for its terms with your quote.

The classic roller blind suits most windows. On a zip blind, the fabric is held in its side channels by a zip: it does not flap in the wind and lets less light through at the sides. It is the choice for outdoors and for rooms that need blacking out.
Yes. Bandalux offers solar versions, such as the Z-Box Solar: a solar panel, a battery and a motor, with no mains connection.
Several systems are designed for outdoor use: Z-Box zip blinds, the Z-Box XXL for very large surfaces, and the BSO adjustable brise-soleil. Bandalux states that the Z-Box is wind class 6 under the EN 13561 standard.
