Outdoor fit-out in Porto-Vecchio

What changes in Porto-Vecchio.

  1. Living outdoors

    Summer is spent outdoors.

In Porto-Vecchio, summer is lived outdoors: lunch in the shade, a swim, late evenings on the terrace as the air cools. We design these places with you: where to put the table, where to set the lounge, how to move from one to the other and to the pool.

Shade is part of the plan from the start: a pergola over the table, a shade sail over the lounge, awnings to close off one side, a parasol by the pool. We create dining areas, lounge spaces, timber decks, planting and outdoor storage.

    See outdoor fit-out

  2. The furniture

    Furniture that lasts the summer.

In sun and salt air, badly chosen furniture wears quickly. We offer Kettal: sofas, tables and sun loungers in aluminium, teak and hard-wearing fabrics. For loungers and cushions, Serge Ferrari makes Batyline, a fabric it promotes for its resistance to abrasion and UV, and its easy care.

For a rental house, these choices count twice over: cushions go out and come in every day, sun loungers are moved around the pool, and everything still has to be in good shape at the end of the season. We take this into account when choosing pieces and fabrics.

    See the Kettal furniture

  3. Around the pool

A parasol in the right place.

By the pool, a cantilever parasol leaves the sun loungers free under the fabric. Jardinico’s JCP.3 rotates through 360° without moving the base, and comes with LED lighting powered by solar panels. Its JCP.5 brings four fabric tops together on a single mast, for 40 m² of shade.

A poolside is more exposed to the wind: Jardinico recommends a heavier base there, and asks for the parasol to be closed as soon as the wind picks up. During the technical visit, we look with you at the terrace’s exposure, access for delivering the pieces and where each space goes.

Your questions, our answers.

Do you design villa terraces in Porto-Vecchio?

Yes. We work all over Corsica from our showroom in Porticcio, near Ajaccio. We come to see your outdoor space, its size, its shape and how you want to use it, then we propose a layout.

Can shade and furniture be brought together in one project?

Yes, that is the idea: a pergola, awnings, a shade sail or parasols, and the furniture, planned together for the same terrace.

What outdoor furniture for a rented villa in Porto-Vecchio?

Sturdy pieces that are easy to look after. We offer Kettalfurniture, in aluminium, teak and hard-wearing fabrics, and we choose it with you. See also made-to-measure outdoor furniture.

When should the layout be prepared for the season?

Before the summer. The lead time depends on the size of the project: after the first visit and approval of the plans, we give you an estimated lead time for design and installation.

Can I put my terrace together before the visit?

Yes, in the configurator. It is a first idea; the project then takes shape at your home, and the price is given on quotation.

How can I contact you to discuss my sun protection or outdoor design project?

Our team answers your questions and presents our services. You can reach us in three ways:

Why choose a bespoke outdoor fit-out?

With a bespoke outdoor fit-out, you use all of your space, to suit your needs and your style. Everything can be personalised. Your garden, terrace or patio becomes more beautiful and more practical, and it is made for you.

What types of outdoor fit-out do you offer?

We create wooden decks, pergolas, lounge areas, outdoor dining areas, bespoke planting and outdoor storage. Every project is tailored to your expectations.

How do I know if my outdoor space is suitable for a bespoke fit-out?

During a consultation, our experts assess your outdoor space: its size, its shape and how you want to use it. We then advise you on the most comfortable and practical layout.
